Although parents often start with delight, they can be quickly overwhelmed once they contemplate the extra work involved in preparing for two babies. Lynn Clary, of Portland, Ore., recalls feeling ecstatic when she first learned she was having twins. Though that never changed, she also felt trepidation over the many preparations required for the new additions to her family.

More than 1 million Infantino baby slings recalled after being linked to 3 deathsWASHINGTON - More than 1 million baby slings made by Infantino are being recalled because the products have been linked to three infant deaths. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says babies can suffocate in the soft fabric slings. The agency is urging parents to immediately stop using the slings for babies under 4 months. The recall involves 1 million Infantino "SlingRider" and "Wendy Bellissimo" slings in the United States and 15,000 in Canada.
