Carey Lindeman President

carey"After completing a lay care ministry program, I recognized the widespread need for compassionate care throughout the circle of life; from expectant and new mothers to people recovering from surgery, to loved ones seeking dignified golden years."

"I also recognized the innate fulfillment one can experience in providing this care. Bringing together a staff that shares this vision, we at Promise Care are recognized as an organization that consistently keeps its promise to deliver the highest level of care since 2005."

Jeanne Greene RN, BSN

Jeanne"Home is the place we all long to be. After 25 years of nursing I know the common goal of a new mother, a post operative patient, a sick child and a senior is to go home. I feel strongly that individuals thrive in the comfort of familiar surroundings. At times we all need help. I am proud to be a part of the Promise Care team helping people at home."

Betty Caregiver

bettyBetty grew up in old Edina. She attended school there through the 9th grade, and because there was no high school in Edina, she graduated from West High School in Minneapolis. The University of Minnesota and Skidmore College followed, until marriage, when school ended and the raising of 3 children began. There were many various careers over her life including teaching, but homemaking was her favorite, especially the cooking! She cared for her father until his death from cancer, and some years later, became interested in home care for the elderly. An opportunity arose for her to care for 5 adult women in a community home. Each elderly woman had her own set of physical/mental challenges. One activity they all agreed upon was their anticipation of "meal time". It was the happiest time of the day for them... not just the meal but the gathering of this new family and the sharing of foods together. Meals were a sacred time for them to share – memories, family food stories, nostalgia, etc. This experience convinced me that this activity has a much larger impact that we really can understand. I try to include as many fresh, organic vegetables and fruits in their diets as possible, and the clients seem to enjoy the results. I am so please to be a part of Promise Care, I honor both the company and the clients.

Nan Caregiver

"Promise Care cares for each and every one of the dear people they care for. Promise Care also cares about the caregivers. It is a privilege to work for Promise Care and very fulfilling. One of my most rewarding and favorite times was with a dear, happy woman that died shortly after our wonderful time together. A time of laughter and joy, laughing so hard with tears of joy rolling down her cheeks and mine too. She said 'I've never laughed so hard, I can't stop and I feel so good. I'm having such a good time!' It was a very wonderful, satisfying time. Then she said 'I love being with you!'. I loved being with her too in the midst of her pain, helplessness and sickness. There was joy and hope in her last days. She was happy and ready."

Tory Caregiver

toryTory is mother to 4 incredible kids (3 teens... yikes!). She became a Postpartum Doula in 2007, she is certified by DONA. Before that she received her BA in Business Communications. She has experience working with multiples, including triplets, & years of breastfeeding experience.

"I love learning about families from other cultures, traveling, and relaxing with family and friends. Every family is unique. Parents are the ones who "know" how to care for their children. I believe my job is to support new families while they learn to trust their parenting instincts."

Jessy Caregiver

Over the years Jessy has experienced many aspects of health care, working in nursing homes, hospitals, clinics, and doing phone triage. What she appreciates the most about home care is the ability to slow down and really get to know each client on an individual, personal level.

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening-watching everything grow (except the weeds) and eating all the fresh produce, especially her raspberries! She is a mother of three sons and one daughter, with just her youngest son and husband still at home, along with their Golden Doodle, Lucy.

"Being invited into people's homes is a privilege and helps bring out the aspects of nursing I enjoy the most - deeply caring for and spending time with each person. At Promise Care we can do that, without the hectic pace of a hospital or clinic."
